Get to Know Our Community

Our city is called Samara. It is situated in the Middle Volga Region of Russia on the left bank of the river Volga. It is a big economic, hystoric, cultural and educational centre. The population is 1 200 000 people. 



Our area is visited by lots of people because of the Volga river, the Zhiguli mountains and beautiful hystorical buildings and modern constructions.






Our area is unique as there is the nature sanctuary called Samarskaya Luka. It is on the UNESCO Conservation Areas List. 




The main industries in our area are car-building, gas and oil indistry. The people are mostly engaged in machine building industry, gas and oil industry, different businesses and civil service.
